I got my first guitar 35 years ago, and I'm just now getting serious about it. I was in band and orchestra through Jr. High, High School, and into college. I played brass instruments, mainly the French Horn. So, I know a thing or two about music fundamentals, which gives me a leg up in learning guitar. I want to be able to play songs from sheet music note for note. My most difficult single aspect has been being consistent in my practicing, picking it up on a daily basis. But, the better I get, the better I WANT to get, so I keep plugging along. I know I can be good, in all modesty. Now, I just need to let myself find out.....
